It is hereby notified that the 21st Divisional Conference of “National Association of Postal Employees Group – C, Murshidabad Division “ will be held on and from 10st to 11th September 2011 at Berhampore Head Post office premises. Subject committee Meeting will be started at 7.30 PM on 10th September ’11 and Open session will be started at 9.30pm on 11th Sept’11. At RITWIK SADAN.
It is also notified that no fresh notice will be issued if the date(s) and venue of the meeting is changed, but only intimation will be sent.
Following will be the agenda in the Conference.
1. Adoption of Report on activities of the Association for the period from01/04/09 to 31.08.2011.
2. Adoption of Audited Accounts of the Association for the period from 1.04.09 to 31.03.11.
3. Organizational Review & financial Review.

Postal Strike Deferred
All J.C.A. leaders are at 9.30 pm in the office of the Director General of Posts for getting the minutes of the discussion/agreement reached between Secretary, Department of Posts and the Central JCA leaders today on 1st July in a marathon meeting. Gist of the settlement reached on all items of the Charter of demands will be published soon.

Discussion between JCA leaders and Postal Board failed today on 27/06/2011.Department is very adamant on Implementing Mckinsey Recommendation. JCA decided to go on Strike. All members of this Division both Group C and GDS and other FNPO affiliates are requested to take all sorts of efforts for Publicity/campaign to make the Strike 100% success. Revision of Allowances consequent on increase in DA by 50%
Since the Dearness Allowance raised to 51% w.e.f. 01/01/11, vide Min of Fin, Deptt of Exp. Letter No. 1(2)/2011-E-II (B) dated 24th March, 2011, the under mentioned Rates on account of TA/DA will be revised as given below w.e.f. 01 Jan 2011. The revised rates are as under
1. Mileage allowance for Road journey shall be regulated at the fallowing rates in places where no specific rates have been prescribed either by Director of Transport of the concerned States or of the neighboring States..
